The duo collectively scored 51 runs in the last 2 overs, propelling Mumbai Indians to a mammoth total of 234, which is their 3rd highest score in the history of the league.

Interestingly, despite reaching the 234-run mark, no Mumbai Indians batter scored a fifty in the game. It was a total team effort, with Rohit, Kishan, Pandya, Tim David, and Shepherd all contributing with innings of 35-plus runs. Rohit Sharma top-scored for Mumbai Indians with 49 runs.
However, the show was stolen by Romario Shepherd, who not only unleashed a batting carnage but also made contributions with the ball. He managed to dismiss the dangerous David Warner. For his outstanding all-round performance, Shepherd was named the Man of the Match.

The target of 235 runs proved to be too far for the Delhi Capitals. Though Prithvi Shaw and Abhishek Porel built an 88-run partnership, they failed to maintain the required run rate. In the end, Tristan Stubbs played a gutsy knock of 71 runs off 25 balls, but Delhi Capitals fell 30 runs short of the target.
