Irfan Pathan became a sensation in Indian cricket after his exploits with the ball against Australia in his debut series in 2003. The all-rounder has a unique record of taking a hat-trick in the first over of a Test to his name. Pathan has been pretty active even after his retirement as he can be seen commentating and analysing the matches during the Indian Premier League. Pathan had announced his retirement in January 2020 where he expressed his happiness to have shared the dressing room with legends like Ganguly, Dravid, and Laxman. He also thanked his family and fans for supporting him throughout. Pathan was in his element when he played against Pakistan in Karachi in 2006. The Pak batsmen were puzzled by the great swing the bowler was able to get. As a result, he ended up taking a hat-trick in the very first over of the Test match.

Irfan Pathan clearly stated that it was his wife who had blurred the picture herself and neither he nor his family had anything to do with it.
