The Junction Oval pitch is a batting friendly surface. The batters enjoy their time here as the ball comes easily onto the bat here and hence shot-making becomes easy. The pitch has a good and even bounce. The pacers may find a bit of assistance off the surface initially however once the batters are set the bowlers will have to toil hard to get breakthroughs.
