Bumrah reveals the reason behind Kuldeep Yadav’s exclusion
The Indian team will be looking to continue their domination against the Sri Lankan team as they will look to complete yet another clean sweep. Team India won the T20I series by 3-0 and the first Test was wrapped up within 3 days as India rattled Sri Lanka. As they get ready for the Pink-Ball Test, Axar Patel has replaced Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah reveals and has cleared the air regarding his sudden exclusion from the team.
The latest Vice-Captain of the Indian team Jasprit Bumrah talked to the media in a press conference ahead of the second Test where he said that the reason for removing Kuldeep Yadav is the result of Yadav being in the Bio-Bubble for very long. “We have not removed him from the team. He has been in the bubble for a long time and hence he has been released. Staying in a bubble is not easy. The mental aspect is important,” said Bumrah in the press conference.
Axar Patel, who has been added as the replacement has been phenomenal in the few matches he has played. It will be interesting to see if Axar Patel will be picked in the Playing XI considering Ashwin and Jadeja’s performance. Also, it’s going to be a day-night Test so the combination may be slightly different from the first Test. The fans will be excited to see the Indian team clinching yet another series win and stamping their authority.
