In previous seasons, franchises used to pick players via Drafts but this year LPL is going to witness its first-ever Auction. Charu Sharma, who also hosted IPL 2022 Auction will be the Auctioneer on Wednesday. Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo is the venue of the inaugural Auction of the Sri Lanka T20 League.

Lanka Premier League 2023 Auction would be held on June 14. The live telecast of the LPL 2023 Auction in India is expected to begin at 2:30 PM.

All 5 teams have signed 4 players each ahead of the Auction. Pakistan’s Babar Azam is also set for first IPL stint with Colombo Strikers. Talking about the LPL 2023 Auction players list, all eyes will be on Suresh Raina who has registered on the highest base price category which is $50,000 (around 41 lakh rupees).
