India and England battled out with their full force since last month as India toured England for 3 T20I’s and 3 ODI and 1 remaining test match from last year.
England looked in pretty well form as they quite dominated the last test match with the former skipper Joe Root and the fabulous right hand batter Jonny Bairstow scoring a ton each in their share.
The T20I series saw a new and emerging side of the Indian Cricket Squad as they introduced a number of players with their debut matches. India looked fierce as they very well took over the 1st T20 in their favour, with Hardik Pandya starring as the anchor of the match. Similarly, the 2nd T20 was also dominated by India as they did not back down from the defeat of the last test match. Unfortunately, India couldn’t take hold of the last T20 but won the series with a 2-1 lead.
The 3-match ODI series will begin from today with the first match to be played today on 12th July at 5 p.m. IST.
The first ODI is scheduled to be played in The Oval. England is looking to take on the ODI series with the certain mindset of coming back up from the defeat of the T20I series. Ben Stokes, Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow are likely to come back in action.
