The Final of ECB’s 100-ball-per-side tournament ‘The Hundred’ is set to be played at the Lord’s Cricket Ground this Saturday. While the Trent Rockets have already qualified for the Final, the second Finalist will be decided with the Eliminator game between Manchester Originals and London Spirit. Here, we will discuss the Pitch Report and the Records of the Lord’s Cricket Ground, London.
The Lewis Gregory-led Trent Rockets ended up at the top of the points table at the end of the league stage after defeating the Josh Cobb-led Welsh Fire, hence qualified directly for the Finals. Both Manchester Originals and London Spirit ended up in 2nd and 3rd place respectively with 10 points each at the end of the league stage. Therefore, the two sides will be battling it out in the Eliminator on Friday night in order to get into the Final.

The Hundred Final: Lord’s London Pitch Report
The Pitch at the Lord’s Cricket Ground offers assistance to the pacers. The movement that the pacers receive from the surface initially makes it difficult for the batters to settle in. The batters would need to take their time at the start of the innings and later build on it.
In the recent ‘The Hundred’ games at Lord’s, it has been seen that the totals around 130 have been chased easily, however, anything over 145 has created trouble for the chasing sides. Anything over the 140-run mark would hence be a great total at the Lord’s Cricket Ground. Putting runs over the board first would be a better decision at this venue.
