India won the first test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy with an inning and 134 runs thanks to a splendid ton by Rohit Sharma. But besides scoring a century Rohit Sharma didn’t miss out on a chance on making the headlines for his funny gesture.

While Indian spinners were making the Aussie batters dance on their spin captain Rohit was looking impatient to watch the review. During the second innings of Australia’s batting, Peter Handscomb was driven forward by Ashwin. The ball spun sharply and struck Handscomb’s pads but the only question was whether the ball turn too much.

India took the review as the on-field umpire gave it not out. The ultra edge cleared that the bat was not involved and everyone was waiting for ball tracking. The ball-tracking a long time to appear on the screen which made the Indian captain frustrated.
Rohit Sharma pointed towards camera and said “Mere Ko kya dikha rha hai, review dikha na” which means “Why are you showing me, show the review”. The hitman laughed afterward along with his teammates.

The hosts India battered the Aussies in the first test with an inning and 135 runs. Australian batters looked completely clueless in front of Indian spinners. It looked like the Aussies were playing under pressure as they even missed a few straight deliveries.

After getting all out on 177 in the first innings they conceded 400 runs in bowling. In the second innings, Australia left everyone embarrassed when they got all out on 98 and lost the match inside 3 days. Only Steve Smith and Labuschagne showed the fighting spirit in batting among all Aussie batters.
If Austria wants to bounce back in Delhi on the 17th then they have to improve their spin game.
