The opening Test match of India’s tour of England has turned out to be an absolute treat for the fans. Though rain played a spoilsport on Day 2 and Day 3, luckily the fans could witness enough play for a result. The match is evenly poised at the moment and it could go either way. In the third session of the 4th Day, Mohammed Siraj was all pumped up and had a heated exchange of words with Sam Curran.
The cricket-lovers couldn’t have asked for a better opening match than the one being played currently in Trent Bridge between England and India. This is surely a fantastic start to what is going to be a challenging series for the Indian team. The match has been a rollercoaster ride so far with the momentum swinging like a pendulum with each passing session.
Mohammed Siraj heats things up
After getting a 95-run lead over the English team, team India gained the upper hand after picking up two quick wickets in England’s second inning. However, Joe Root along with other batsmen frustrated the Indian bowlers greatly with a ton. Mohammed Siraj was irked particularly by the English batsmen who scored runs at will as Day 4 progressed.
Mohammed Siraj was bowling with all the passion and zeal but to no avail. Sam Curran who played a handy knock for his team, hit Mohammed Siraj for a boundary in the 74th over. This led to Siraj having a heated exchange with the English all-rounder. Siraj replied the batsman with a bouncer and the exchange continued. The Indian skipper had to intervene at the end to calm the bowler down.
