This survey includes 42,000 global personalities as the list of most admired men and women. People around the world voted for their favourite person on the list. British company YouGov takes this survey. Bill Gates and Michelle Obama ranked at the top in the list of most admired man and woman in the world respectively. Interestingly, Bill Gates has topped this list every time.
Most Admired Men & Women In India
Talking about the most admired men in India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi topped the list with 15.66% votes. MS Dhoni is the 2nd most admired man in India as he gets 8.58% votes. The list follows Ratan Tata, Barack Obama and Bill Gates. Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan gets 6.55% making him the 6th most admired man in India. Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli are far below Dhoni in the list at 7th and 8th rank with 5.81% and 4.46% votes respectively.
Boxer Mary Kom has topped the list of most admired women in India with 10.36%. The list follows first woman IPS Kiran Bedi, legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar, late politician Sushma Swaraj, actress Deepika Padukone and so on. Michelle Obama is also in this list at the 7th place.

However, in the global list, Cristiano Ronaldo has left his rival Lionel Messi behind. Ronaldo is the 7th most admired man in the world while Messi is at the 9th spot. So, according to this survey, Ronaldo is the winner of the debate over who is better amongst Ronaldo and Messi. Although, both players are counted among the greatest players in any sport.
