Sri Lanka played its last test match back in July 2022
The Lankan lions last played a test series back in 2022 July against Pakistan where they drew 1-1. In the WTC Cycle, 2021-23 Sri Lanka has only lost a test series to India.
They have drawn against Australia, and Pakistan and defeated West Indies and Bangladesh.
If Sri Lanka manages to beat New Zealand 2-0 in this series then they will be in a pole position to qualify for WTC Final.
