During the fourth quarter-final between Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh Hanuma Vihari showed his guts and courage. The captain of Andhra Pradesh played with a fractured forearm and struck a gorgeous boundary against speedster Avesh Khan.
It’s not the first time when we are seeing Vihari batting after hurting himself. Back in 2021 famous Border Gavaskar Trophy 3rd Test Vihari batted with a torn hamstring along with Ravi Ashwin to save the Test match for India.
Vihari’s brave effort got a lot of praise from everyone in the country as India managed to save the test.

The 29-year-old right-handed batter started playing left-handed after hurting his left forearm. He faced Avesh Khan who normally clicks around 140 km/h with a single hand. Vihari even sent one of the toes-crushing yorkers by Avesh Khan to the boundary which got a lot of applause from the crowd.

Though Vihari’s innings didn’t last much as he got out on 27 by Saransh Jain. It’s difficult for Vihari to come and bat again in the second innings as the injury is looking like a serious one.
Madhya Pradesh trail by 235 runs after day 2
The home side is right now 144-4 after day 2 trailing 235 runs. For Andhra Pradesh, in the first innings, Ricky Bhui and Karan Shinde smashed centuries which took their score to 379 runs on a seemingly difficult wicket to bat on.
In reply, Madhya Pradesh lost both their openers on a cheap score of 20 and 22 respectively. The man in form Rajat Patidar was also not able to make his mark on day 2 for MP as he was cleaned up by Nitish Reddy on 20.
As day 3 will resume new batter Anubhav Aggarwal and captain Shrivastava will be in the crease. There will be a big responsibility on the shoulders of the skipper of MP to close the trail.
