The left-arm pacer had to opt out of the ongoing Asia Cup 2022 due to a knee injury he sustained against Sri Lanka during the first Test in July. Considering the effectiveness of his bowling, Ravi Ashwin shares the amount Shaheen would attract if Pakistani players were part of the IPL Auction.

Talking about Shaheen Afridi and his skills, Ravi Ashwin shared that the bowler would easily get a sum of around Rs.14-15 crores, however, fans feel that the price is a bit too much even by the standards of Shaheen Afridi. It is to note that Shaheen has an average of below 25 across formats and has been the pace spearhead for the Pakistani team for a while now. Despite the brilliant stats, netizens feel that the bowler would not go for a price as high as Rs.15 crore in IPL.

As for Ravi Ashwin, it was a pleasant surprise for the fans when the star bowler was selected in the Indian squad for the Asia Cup 2022. Though the spinner has not got any game yet, his selection is an indication that the selectors have not kept Ashwin out of the scheme of things in T20 Cricket. The Indian team has won both the games they have played so far and have moved to the Super Four. If Pakistan wins their next fixture, the fans may witness yet another India-Pakistan clash.
