Indian team is undergoing a 6-day conditioning camp ahead of the Asia Cup 2023
The BCCI has scheduled a six-day conditioning camp ahead of the much-awaited Asia Cup 2023. The opening day of the camp was devoted to the Yo-Yo Test process to determine where the players stand in terms of their fitness.
Few players will undergo a 13-day fitness program which includes players’ Blood tests and full Body check-ups to make sure every selected player is fully fit and ready to play back-to-back two big tournaments.
The players who featured in the recently held Ireland T20I series are not obliged to take the 13-day physical fitness program, unlike the rest of the players including Kohli, Rohit, and Shami.
The program started on the 9th of August and concluded on the 22nd of August while some players of the squad were playing against Ireland.
