It has barely been a week since India’s ODI series win over England. The skipper Rohit Sharma and the last game’s centurion Rishabh Pant must be tired, one must think. Turns out it isn’t true. Not when it comes to hopping onto an Instagram Live, at least.
Most of the A-listers of the Indian cricket team are utilising the time off after their series win against England. They are either busy training or indulging in their family.
However, Rishabh Pant, Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav are stark differences. They’re spending it on their phones looking at each other.
MS Dhoni turns off the phone after Rishabh Pant pulls his leg
On July 26, the Mumbai Indians duo of SKY and Rohit combined with Rishabh Pant for a live session/group video call on Instagram.
The IG live, interestingly, also featured MS Dhoni in it. Sakshi Dhoni, the former captain’s wife joined the live from MSD’s account and greeted the Indian trio before turning the camera to him.
However, the four-time IPL champ could only wave a hand before Rishabh did him dirty by instructing his beau Sakshi Dhoni to keep her husband under control.
“Bhaiya (MS Dhoni) ko rakho, thodi der line par rakho,” the wk-batter remarked.

The CSK-skipper, although bemused, instantly grabbed the phone at this and covered the camera before eventually turning his phone off.
The sarcastic flavour to Rishabh Pant’s joke apart, the simpler meaning converts to him asking the former Indian skipper to stay on the live for a while. It is to be noted that, unlike other celebrities, MSD uses social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram sparingly.
Regardless, the hilarious first interpretation of Rishabh’s comment remains the foremost. It was evidently understood by the trio –MS Dhoni, SKY, and Rohit Sharma– who instantly burst out giggling.
The takeaway for the readers? The mischiefs of Rishabh Pant spare none. Not even Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
