On his son Zoravar’s birthday, Shikhar Dhawan shared an emotional note, reflecting on the two years of being unable to stay in touch with his son. He revealed being blocked by his wife on online platforms, making it challenging to stay in touch with his child.
“It’s been a year since I saw you in person, and now, for almost three months, I’ve been blocked from everywhere so Posting the same picture to wish you, my boy, a very Happy Birthday. Even if I can’t connect with you directly, I connect with you through Telepathy. I am so proud of you, and I know you’re doing great and growing up nicely.” Shikhar Dhawan wrote.

In 2012, Shikhar Dhawan married Ayesha, who was a divorcee with two daughters. They met on social media, started dating, and got married. In 2014, they had a son named Zoravar. The reported reason for their separation is financial issues.
According to reports, Ayesha was taking advantage of the cricketer’s finances and wanted him to give her sole ownership of three properties in Australia, purchased jointly by the couple. Shikhar Dhawan had reportedly funded the entire purchase. Despite being married to him, she wanted to live in Australia.
