The second-string Indian team started their short 2-match Ireland tour yesterday with the rain affected first T20I. Hardik Pandya has been appointed as the captain for the tour while Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been selected as his deputy. Rain played a spoilsport but thankfully the match could be played albeit after reduction in overs. During the game, an interesting incident took place where Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s delivery became the talk of the town.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s delivery clocks 208 KMPH due to technical issues
After winning the toss, Hardik Pandya opted to bowl first and the bowlers did really well to pick up 3 wickets inside the powerplay. The Irish batsmen, especially Harry Tector took on the Indian bowlers after the powerplay and reached at 108 in their allotted 12 overs. Apart from Tector’s quickfire inning, what became the highlight of the Ireland inning was Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s delivery which clocked 208kmph.
In the very first over of Ireland inning, an unusual incident happened as the speedometer showed Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s delivery clocking 208kmph. The error by the speedometer was noticed by the netizens and the picture of the same soon got viral on the internet. The fans were in splits after seeing the speedometer acting crazy and displaying an unbelievable speed of 208kmph which is impossible.

After conceding 108 runs in 12 overs, the Indian batsmen came back stronger and made light work of the chase. The openers Deepak Hooda and Ishan Kishan attacked the bowlers from the start and then Hooda fittingly finished the game with a boundary. The opener remained unbeaten on 47 while Ishan scored 26 runs off just 11 deliveries. Hardik Pandya made 24 runs with a strike rate of 200.
