Twitter left amazed as a fan’s tweet predicting Virat Kohli’s score and dismissal in his 100th Test turns out to be true

As Virat Kohli stepped onto the field in his record 100th Test match, spectators at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali welcomed the modern-day great with a loud cheer. Kohli looked in supreme touch but was left bamboozled by a turning delivery off Lasith Embuldeniya as the former India skipper departed back to the hut for 45 runs.

While Virat Kohli was certainly shell-shocked after his dismissal, captain Rohit Sharma as well could not believe his eyes. However, a Twitter account holder, having username Quick_Single seemed to have time travelled her way into the future as most of her predictions surrounding Kohli surprisingly turned out to be correct.

Hours before the Test match, the Twitter user dropped in a series of predictions and wrote, “Kohli Won’t score a 100 in his 100th test. Will score 45 (100) with 4 gorgeous cover drives and then Embuldeniya will knock his stumps over and he’ll pretend to be shocked ?? and will nod his head in disappointment.”

Although Kohli did not face 100 deliveries, but scored exactly 45 runs. The mode of dismissal and bowler was also rightly predicted as the 33-year-old was bowled off Embuldeniya’s delivery. Even, Kohli’s reaction was the same as it was mentioned in the tweet.
