Virat Kohli performed exceptionally well throughout the tournament and it was disappointing to see him on the losing side in the crucial encounter. He was adjudged the Player of the Tournament for scoring the most runs in the competition. India’s run machine piled up 765 runs in 11 games at a tremendous batting average of 95.62. He smacked three centuries and six half-centuries in the competition.
