Virat Kohli Bowling Vs NZ
The struggle of Indian players during bowling forced Virat Kohli to come to bowl. Indian bowlers failed to give a much-needed breakthrough. Virat Kohli who didn’t have a good time in the New Zealand tour bowled one over. However, he didn’t get a wicket and conceded 4 runs off the over.
Umesh Yadav provided the first wicket for India but it was too late. In 28th over, Tom Latham edged Yadav’s delivery to wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant. Later, Kane Williamson was too sent by Bumrah when he was playing at 5. In the end, New Zealand won the match easily by 7 wickets.

If we remove the 5-0 series win in T20Is, this tour was not less than a nightmare for Virat Kohli. The 31-year old didn’t reach a single triple figures mark in the whole tour. Virat Kohli could score only one half-century in 11 innings. This is Virat Kohli’s worst-ever tour across all three formats.
Now, Indian team set to play a 3-ODI match series vs South Africa. The series to commence on 12 March at Dharamshala stadium. Lucknow and Kolkata will host the 2nd and 3rd ODI matches. After the home ODI series, six players of Indian team; Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Shami will join Asia XI squad for two T20I matches against World XI in Bangladesh. Post this series, IPL 2020 will kick start from 29 March.
