Since the global pandemic novel coronavirus has brought the entire world into a standstill and postponed or cancelled all the sporting events around the globe, many cricketers are trying different things to engage themselves as well as to spend times. Even they are trying to keep in touch with their fans through social media. In the process, India all-rounder Hardik Pandya shared a picture of him on Instagram where he can be seen playing the indoor game ‘carrom’.

Along with him, his elder brother Krunal Pandya who is also a player of India and two more friends were playing. He posted the picture with the caption, “Nothing like a great game of carrom with my brothers. Brings back a lot of memories #PandyaBrothers.”

However, the picture became viral in no time and fans started commenting on it. But one response took all the limelight and that was none other than Indian captain Virat Kohli. The Indian skipper commented on Hardik’s expression where he can be seen looking at his brother Krunal and Kohli hilariously trolled by asking if he is trying to intimidate his brother Krunal Pandya.

Virat Kohli commented, “Waiting for your turn or trying to intimidate Krunal first? Haath board par aur aankh Krunal par (You have your eyes laid on Krunal even though your hands are on the board).”

Not only Kohli, Hardik’s teammate of Mumbai Indians (MI) – the most successful franchise of Indian Premier League (IPL) – Surya Kumar Yadav has also replied on the Hardik’s post. Surya Kumar added: “Bade bhai ye wala shot dekho (Big brother, have a look at this shot).”

Hardik Pandya has been in the news for quite sometimes now – be it for his off the field activities or giving the good news of his baby coming soon. However, he has been out of action since long as he had undergone a back surgery after facing a career-threatening injury during the Asia Cup match against Pakistan in 2018.

In a chat with veteran commentator Harsha Bhogle, Hardik Pandya had revealed that when he was injured he thought he couldn’t play again for India.

“I genuinely thought that my career was over because I’d never seen anyone being stretchered off. I was knocked out for 10 minutes, after that the pain never went down. What happens to me is that my body goes into recovery mode straight away… Asia Cup was anyway going to be my last series before being rested, but then the injury happened,” Hardik Pandya had concluded.
