After winning the 2nd test match against West Indies at Kingston, now Virat Kohli has become the most successful test captain of India. He surpasses MS Dhoni’s record of 27 wins in 60 tests. Now, Virat has 28 wins in 48 matches as captain. India remained unbeaten in the whole West Indies tour. India won T20Is by 3-0, ODIs by 2-0 and Tests by 2-0.
Virat Kohli In Delhi Squad
But recently, Delhi and District Cricket Association has named Virat Kohli in the probable 50-member squad of Delhi for Vijay Hazare Trophy. The trophy to be played from 24th September to 10th October. Virat Kohli’s name is on the top of the DDCA’s ist.
Now, India will play a T20I series against South Africa starting 15th September in Dharamshala. The last T20 of the 3-match series to be played on 21st September. And after which Test series is starting from 2nd October. So, DDCA may add Virat Kohli in the final squad for 1-2 matches as there will be no match of India between 24th September to 2nd October. Other than Virat, DDCA has also named Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant in the squad.
All the players who have been named in the probable list have been asked by the DDCA to report to the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium on Tuesday at 8 am.

Kohli’s Domestic Career
However, Virat Kohli has played very less domestic cricket in his career. After, winning the under-19 world cup as captain in 2008, the same year Virat made his debut for the national team. He settled his place early and today he is leading the team. So, he has continuously played international cricket in career.
The 30-year old batsman has a brilliant domestic record. In 32 domestic first-class matches, he has scored 3903 runs. While in domestic one-day matches he has 1442 runs in 34 matches.
Vijay Hazare Trophy is a one-day domestic trophy and also known as Ranji one-day Trophy. 37 teams are participating in 2019-2020 season of Vijay Hazare Trophy. Mumbai had won the 2018-2019 season while Delhi had finished as the runners-up.
