RCB star batter Virat Kohli is considered as one of the finest batters in the history of Indian Premier League. Virat Kohli was asked to name the most underrated batter in IPL history as he named CSK batter Ambati Rayudu who has played a few games for Team India as well.
Virat Kohli shared his thoughts about the cash-rich league in a video shared by JioCinema. The star RCB batter was asked a string of questions in a rapid fire round to which he gave some really interesting answers.

In the rapid fire round, Virat Kohli was asked about whom he considers as the most underrated batter in the IPL history. The star batter didn’t took much time to think and named Chennai Super Kings batter Ambati Rayudu.
Rayudu has till now played 193 IPL games in which he has scored 4264 runs with a decent strike rate of 127.44 and an average of 28.81. The CSK batter has also smashed 22 fifties and a ton as well. Rayudu is a part of the CSK squad since IPL 2018 and is a permanent member of their playing XI.
He gave important contributions in CSK’s IPL triumph in the year 2018 and 2021. CSK used him as an opener in the IPL 2018 season and his performance was always up to the mark. Earlier, he was a part of the Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians franchise and was a key match-winner for them as well.
Courtesy of his consistent run in the Indian Premier League, Rayudu got an opportunity to play for the Indian Team as well. He played 55 ODIs and has scored 1695 runs with an exceptional average of 47.06 while hitting 10 fifties and 3 tons.
Virat Kohli was also asked about his favorite IPL opponent to which the star batter replied that he enjoys playing against MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings. “Chennai because of a huge fanbase. It’s entertaining,” Virat said on JioCinema in the rapid fire round.
The RCB batter also named his former RCB teammate Shane Watson as the greatest all-rounder in the IPL history. When asked about the GOAT of the IPL, Virat named former RCB batter AB de Villiers and former Mumbai Indians pacer Lasith Malinga. He also said that his favorite shot in T20s is the pull shot.
