Peshawar Zalmi took on Islamabad United on February 23 in a Pakistan Super League game at the National Stadium in Karachi. Cricket fans witnessed a hilarious incident in the PSL game between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United as Pakistan skipper Babar Azam jokingly pretended to hit pacer Hasan Ali with his bat.
Babar Azam hilariously raises his bat threatening Hasan Ali
Pakistan skipper Babar Azam looked in sublime form against Islamabad United as he played an unbeaten knock of 75 runs off just 58 deliveries with 7 fours and a maximum. However, more than Babar’s crucial knock, a light-hearted moment shared between Azam and Islamabad United’s pacer Hasan Ali caught the attention of cricket fans.
The incident took place on the final delivery of the 14th over of Peshawar Zalmi’s innings. Just as Hasan Ali finished his run-up, he slipped onto the pitch while Babar had hit the ball towards mid-on for a single.
Babar Azam looked for the single as soon as he hit the ball and just as he saw Hasan Ali sitting in his way, he hilariously raised his bat and pretended to hit the Islamabad United pacer in order to move him out of his way.
Seeing Babar showing his bat towards him, Hasan Ali quickly moved out of his way which enabled the Pakistan skipper to complete the single after which both Azam and Ali had smiles on their faces as the hilarious incident ended on a good note.
