Case in point, Bangladesh’s veteran cricketer, Shakib Al Hasan made the headlines for the wrong reason. The experienced campaigner crossed his limits by slapping a fan during a political rally and the video clip of the same has spread like wildfire on social media. According to the video clip, the cricketer was accidentally pushed by the crowd, which triggered him to come up with an angry response to one of his fans.

If reports doing the rounds are to be believed, the unexpected incident took place at a polling station where the Bangladesh captain had arrived to cast his vote. Since there was no security personnel to manage crowds and ensure the cricketer’s safety, there was no barrier between him and the noisy crowd. This led to a chaotic situation where Shakib lost his cool and slapped a fan.

However, the details of the fan’s actions that triggered the all-rounder remain unclear from the footage. The incident occurred before the cricketer won the Parliament elections. This isn’t the first time that Shakib Al Hasan made the headlines for his temper. He has had a history of disciplinary issues that have garnered attention in the cricketing fraternity.
