During the World Cup 2019 final against New Zealand, Ben Stokes scored unbeaten 84 runs that ended the final on a tie. As per the bet, James, Stokes’s Brother had to face six deliveries of his brother without getting dismissed. As to a face an International level bowler is a very very difficult task for the non-professional batsman. Despite that James had won the battle of facing an over without getting dismissed. In results, everyone remained shocked and Ben Stokes himself has shared the video of the incident. The video of the incident is getting viral over twitter handle.
Before sharing the video Stokes himself has given the information about the friendly bet between them. Actually he has tweeted the information and wrote, “Today is the day!!! @stokes787 (my brother) made a bet with me on Friday….6 balls from me flat out and he reckons he won’t get out…Sydenham Cricket Club 5.30ish,@cardinalcricket.”
