Bangladesh was scheduled to be hosting Pakistan for a five-match long series which comprised 3 T20Is to go with two five-day test games. Each of the three T20I games were won by Pakistan. Following that, the 1st match of the two-match test series is currently being held in Chattorgam.
While the first day’s game saw Liton Das smack a hundred as Mushfiqur played a trustable partner, the visitors dominated second day. Hasan Ali and co. coerced Bangladesh to lose their last 6 batters for seventy-five runs on Day 2. Day two also transpired a funny, synchronised fielding effort by Pakistan which has now gone viral.
Hilarious fielding effort by Shafique and Imam Ul-Haq
Bangladeshi batter Mahedi Hasan was on the strike for the last ball of game’s 95th over. He was dished a full ball and which was creamed for a grounded drive which was running away to the boundary. Thus, Pakistan’s fielding duo of Shafique Abdullah and Imam Ul-Haq ran to chase the ball down and save vital runs for their side.
The duo managed to succeed in their plans. However, it wasn’t without pulling off an amusing act of in-sync fielding. While it was Ul-Haq who got his hands onto the ball, unintentionally, debutant Shafique synced himself with his senior batsman. Everything Shafique did was in full sync with Imam: be it the chase, the dive or the act of getting back on one’s own feet. Watch it below.

Their fielding synchronism was unreal and hilarious. Be it the netizens or the fans, each and everyone was left amused. Interestingly, this wasn’t the first ever display of a fun, synchronised fielding act from Pakistan. They have a copyright over it and its first such instance came to fore way back in 2014 WC. Umar Gul and Shahid Afridi starred as the executioners.

Back then, West Indies were up against the green team. Lendl Simmons was the batsman involved. He had played a cut shot which was successfully chased by Lala. Umar Gul had formed the other half of the in-sync duo.
