Punjab Kings were clinical against the Gujarat Titans on Tuesday evening as they won their 5th game of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League. Shikhar Dhawan was instrumental in Punjab’s victory as he scored an unbeaten 62. However, Liam Livingstone stuns everyone as he went berserk in the 16th over of the game. The opponents, his teammates, the commentators and all the viewers were left stunned as the batsman hit a monstrous 117-metre six.

Punjab Kings were invited to bowl first by the Gujarat skipper Hardik Pandya and the Punjab bowlers didn’t let their captain down as they restricted the Gujarat Titans on just 143. The batsmen did the rest of the job for Punjab, and in particular, Liam Livingstone stuns everyone with his ruthless hitting. The batsman played only 10 deliveries, but made a great impact on the game and helped his team to improve their Net Run Rate.
Liam Livingstone stuns each and everyone who watched the match as he scored 30 runs in just 10 balls with a mind-blowing strike rate of 300. The batsman unleashed himself in the 16th over of the inning which was bowled by Mohammed Shami. Livingstone started the over with a monstrous 117-metre six which left everyone baffled. The ball went out of the stadium and the players on the ground were seen laughing and in utter bewilderment.

The 117-metre maximum was followed by two more sixes and a four. Liam Livingstone stuns everyone as he scored 28 runs off Shami’s over and finished the game in style. With this victory, Punjab Kings are still in contention to enter the playoffs, however they will have to win all their matches from here on. Gujarat Titans had a rare off day as they lost only their second match of the tournament. Their chances of making it to the playoffs are very bright and a single win will seal the deal for the new franchise.
