On Sunday, during the final match of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2019-20, Karnataka captain Manish Pandey stood tall. He helped the team with a much-needed knock to register a win over Tamil Nadu in the finals. Meanwhile, Pandey scored 60 runs off just 45 balls and remain not out.
After winning the toss Tamil Nadu captain Dinesh Kartik chose to field first at Lalabhai Contractor Stadium in Surat. Manish Pandey, the Karnatka captain came in to bat when Ravichandran batsman dismissed Lokesh Rahul (22) and Mayank Agarwal (0) in back to back deliveries. Pandey led from the front as he scored his 26th T20 half-century.
In between the innings, Manish hit a six against Murugan Ashwin, hitting him down the ground for a colossal six. With the ball going past the sightscreen, it invited a delay to bring the ball back. However, thereafter something happened which never ever had in cricket history. Actually, a fan took the ball and taking it back with him outside the stadium as the fan was caught on camera. It is looking very funny to watch. It all happened during the third delivery of the ninth over.
