Team India is taking on West Indies in the first test of the two-match test series in Dominica. During the India vs West Indies first test on July 12, young batter Shubman Gill looked in a jolly mood as he was seen showcasing Caribbean dance steps while fielding on Day 1.
The Men in Blue got off to a great start on the first day of the test match as they kept taking wickets on regular intervals. None of the West Indies batters could settle down on the Dominica pitch which had some help for the bowlers.

Team India looked in complete control of the game as West Indies were placed at a score of 148-9 at the end of 63 overs. When the two Caribbean batters were having word between the overs, Shubman Gill tuned in to the music and displayed some funky dance moves while fielding at the forward short-leg position.
While Gill displayed the Caribbean flair on Day 1 of the first test, his video went viral across social media platforms. Netizens indulged in the dose of entertainment provided by the young batter and expressed their feedback on social media.

Talking about the game, the Rohit Sharma-led side got off to a great start in the first India vs West Indies test courtesy of the brilliant spell bowled by off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. The experienced campaigner took a 5-wicket haul including the wickets of opening batters Kragg Brathwaite and Tagenarine Chanderpaul.
Left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja too joined the party as he dismissed 3 West Indies batters on Day 1. None of the experienced Caribbean batters looked in any rhythm against a strong Indian bowling lineup while debutant Alick Athanaze played a crucial knock of 47 runs.
The West Indies side were eventually bowled out for a below par total of 150 runs in their first innings on Day 1 after playing just 64.3 overs. Indian pacers Shardul Thakur and Mohammed Siraj took a wicket each.
The Indian openers provided their side a brilliant start in the third session as they scored 80 runs and remained unbeaten at the end of play on Day 1 of first India vs West Indies test.
