Steve Smith nearly catch himself off Neil Wagner’s lethal bouncer: During the ongoing second Test match of Australia vs New Zealand series, Australian batsman Steve Smith found himself at the wrong end of a lethal bouncer from New Zealand fast bowler Neil Wagner. Meanwhile, he nearly caught the ball as he misjudged the pacer’s bouncer.
It all happened in the 101st over of the Australian innings when Steve Smith and Trevis Head were batting for the fifth wicket. In the last ball of the over, it was a great bouncer from the Kiwi’s bowler as Smith totally remain stunned.

Earlier in the match, after winning the toss, New Zealand decided to bowl first at MCG. Meanwhile, batting first Australian team scored 467 before getting all out, thanks to Travis Head’s 114. Australian captain Tim Paine and batsman Steve Smith also played decent innings of 79 and 85 respectively.
In the reply, the New Zealand team at the end of the Day 2 were on 44 for the loss of two wickets. Skipper Kane Williamson and Tom Blundell could manage to score only 9 and 15 respectively before getting out. From Australia, Pat Cummins and James Pattinson took 1-1- wicket each.
