“We Don’t See Jonty Rhodes Fitting In Top 3 Positions, Says MSK Prasad
India’s selection committee headed by MSK Prasad shortlisted 3 candidates for each support staff job. On Thursday, the process of Team India’s support staff selection has made further steps. However, Ravi Shastri has already appointed as India’s Head Coach by 3-Panel Committee Headed by Kapil Dev. Kapil Dev’s Committee has also shown their interest in choosing the persons in a Support Staff role. But the request rejected by CoA as per the guidelines of Supreme Court.
MSK Prasad’s selection committee shortlisted three candidates for the role of each Support Staff Position in Indian Team. Meanwhile, the name of the best candidate Jonty Rhodes has been missing from the list. Jonty Rhodes even couldn’t make to the Top 3 Positions which is a shocking thing for the fans. After this decision, the social media lashes out the selection committee for not shortlisting the name of veteran Jonty Rhodes.
However, after the selection process, MSK Prasad has given a full explanation that why his name is not shortlisted for the Job. According to MSK Prasad R Sridhar is the best option for India’s Feilding coach. And the second and third position candidates will automatically be chosen for India A team and for NCA. That’s why Jhonty’s name has been missing from the shortlisted list.

“We Don’t See Jonty Rhodes Fitting In Top 3 Positions,” Says MSK Prasad
“R Sridhar is one of the best fielding coaches. Unfortunately in the World Cup, maybe he wouldn’t have got….. there were 2-3 wicketkeepers in the side, we all know that. Otherwise, he has transformed this into a wonderful fielding unit. There are no second thoughts about Sridhar,” MSK Prasad Said.
“With Regards to the second and third position, we don’t see Jonty Rhodes fitting in there because those roles are more for India A levels and the NCA,” he further added.
