England women cricket star Sarah Taylor bid adieu to international cricket due to her anxiety disorder. She ended her career after playing 126 ODIs, 90 T20Is and 10 tests and scored 5056, 2177 and 300 runs in these formats respectively. She has got quick hands behind the wickets and usually gets compared with MS Dhoni for her skills. Several times her name is linked with Virat Kohli and she is a huge fan of the Indian skipper. Even once her name was linked with Ravindra Jadeja after her twitter conversation with the Indian all-rounder went viral.
When Jadeja-Taylor Conversation Went live
The incident happened after the 2014 T20 World Cup finals. Both India men and England women lost in the final of their respective World Cups. Ravindra Jadeja was not well versed with Twitter back then and he sent a direct message to Sarah Taylor after her team’s loss against Australia. Jadeja had not followed her on twitter thus she was unable to DM him. So Taylor was forced to reply to Jadeja’s personal messages with tweets which anyone could see.
After seeing her tweets, we can tell that Jadeja was talking about their recent performances. Soon they realised that everyone can see their conversation. So, Sarah Taylor asked Ravindra Jadeja to follow her on twitter so she can be able to direct message him. However, Sarah Taylor kept replying him through tweets.
Soon the conversation turned a bit personal as they talked about that the fans who were watching their tweets and thinking something else. In the end, both decided to meet each other near the pool at 10 AM. Here below are screenshots of Sarah Taylor’s replies to Jadeja.

3 days before this incident, another tweet by England women team’s player Danielle Wyatt had created a buzz. After being highly impressed with Virat Kohli’s performance in 2014 WT20, she proposed him for marriage via Twitter as she tweeted, “Kohli Marry Me”. When Virat Kohli’s mother was asked about this proposal, she said Virat is too young for the marriage.
