Ahead of the big clash on Sunday, the company took to their Twitter account and posted a cheeky tweet tagging the Pakistan Cricket Board. For the uninitiated, one video of a Pakistani fan got viral after Pakistan’s defeat in the ODI World Cup match in 2019. The fan complained on how the Pakistani team ate burgers and pizzas before the match, which resulted in the loss. Zomato trolls Pakistan Cricket team based on the same.

This was definitely a sly dig at the Pakistan team and the Twitterati found the tweet hilarious. As for the rivalry, Pakistan has never defeated India in T20 World Cup. The teams have clashed 5 times before, and it was India that came out victorious every time.
