A video of the moment has gone viral on social media. Just before the start of the 14th over of RCB’s innings, Ellyse Perry and Richa Ghosh were going all out with their batting, sending the crowd into a frenzy. The roar from the stands was overwhelming, and Harmanpreet, struggling to withstand the noise, instinctively covered her ears.

This season, the venue is set to host eight matches, with yesterday’s game being the first. RCB’s triumph in WPL 2024 has further fueled the massive support for their women’s team.
