The biggest talking point came after the match when young India A batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi got involved in a heated exchange with Sri Lanka A players following the Super Over defeat.
The 15-year-old looked devastated after India A failed to cross the line in the tiebreaker. During Sri Lanka A’s Super Over innings, Arshad Khan bowled what India A believed was the final delivery of the over. However, the umpires later called it a no-ball for height, giving Sri Lanka A an extra ball. The Indian camp were frustrated with the decision in the first place.
