The Saturday evening turned out to be a run-fest as the match between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals proved to be a great entertainer for cricket lovers. The Next-Gen of Indian cricket showcased their talent and announced themselves on the big stage in great style. There was a funny moment in the match where Glenn Phillips chased a looping no-ball.
Owing to the class batting by Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dube, the Rajasthan camp made light work of the challenging total given by CSK. It was all about young India on Saturday evening as the young lads went all guns blazing irrespective of the bowler and his reputation. The second inning proved to be a sure shot thriller and it also witnessed a hilarious incident as Glenn Phillips tried to hit a looping no-ball.

The incident came in the 17th over of the RR inning when Sam Curran was bowling to Glenn Phillips. It was very hot and humid in Abu Dhabi and the players were sweating. Curran bowled a delivery that slipped out of his hand, looped in the air and Phillips hilariously chased it in a bid to hit the ball, however, it was too far from the batsman. The incident surely was a funny one as it sparked some laughter.

Earlier, RR skipper Sanju Samson opted to bowl after winning the toss, however, the CSK batsmen were up to the task. Ruturaj Gaikwad was sensational, reaching his maiden IPL hundred on the last ball of the inning with a maximum. CSK gave a stiff target of 190 to RR, and it looked like RR would find it very difficult to chase, but the viewers were in for a surprise.

The RR openers scored 81 runs in the powerplay itself which was the highest for this season. From there on, the RR batsman never looked back and just kept dealing in boundaries. Jaiswal scored a half-century which was followed by a brilliant half-century by Shivam Dube as well. It was only a formality when Glenn Phillips came in to bat. RR won the match with 15 deliveries left and have kept itself afloat in the race to playoffs.
