The first season of Cricket South Africa’s franchise T20 league ‘SA20’ is set to begin this Tuesday. Six teams, namely – Durban Super Giants, Pretoria Capitals, MI Cape Town, Sunrisers Eastern Cape, Joburg Super Kings, and Paarl Royals will be competing against each other in the competition. A total of 33 games will be played in the tournament from Jan 10 to Feb 11. Find ahead where you can find the Live Telecast of SA20 2023 in India.
In the first match of SA20’s inaugural season, MI Cape Town will be taking on Paarl Royals at the Newlands stadium. A total of 6 venues across South Africa will further be hosting the entire season. The competition will be played in a round-robin format where each team will be facing the remaining sides twice in the league stage. On completion of the league stage, the top 4 sides on the points table will be progressing to the semifinals.
The South African side is currently in Australia for a 3-match Test series. An ODI series, which was scheduled after the tests, have been canceled to make a window for the inaugural SA20. Hence, after the completion of the test series on the 8th of January the Proteas will be returning back to participate in the league. There will be a week’s gap midway through the tournament to accommodate the 3-match England vs South Africa ODI series. After the JSK vs DSG game on the 24th of January, the competition will resume on February 2.

SA20 2023 Full Schedule
The one-month-long league will witness a total 33 matches, out of which 30 will be league games while rest 3 matches are semi-finals and the final. In India, the live telecast of SA20 matches will begin either 5:00 PM or 9:00 PM while the final will start at 8:00 PM. Six different venues in South Africa are going to host the tournament.
